WHO WE ARE

Emma Bail CGMA
I am a qualified Accountant with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and founded Evolve Accounting in 2014 after the birth of my first baby.
Before starting Evolve Accounting, I worked for a number of high-profile large organisations in a range of industries including manufacturing, retail, recruitment and fine art so I have a lot of experience across many business sectors.
My passion has always been small business. My Dad is a small business owner, I grew up understanding the hard work it takes to get a small business off the ground and just how many different hats a small business owner must wear.
My focus is to support my clients with all financial aspects of their business; from annual accounts, tax returns and a valuable advisory service to help clients to understand their financial reports and the impact they have on their business.
I am an experienced Accountant focusing on our sole trader clients from bookkeeping, year end accounts and self-assessment tax returns.
I particularly enjoy helping clients to manage their records, improve their processes and increase efficiency because it means they can spend more time running their business instead of staring at paperwork.
I find my background of working in a range of industries from healthcare, telecoms and recruitment helps me to understand our different types of clients.
As an experienced Bookkeeper I focus on client bookkeeping, payroll and admin - removing all the day to day headaches from business owners that have previously tried to manage this themselves.
I am experienced with a range of bookkeeping softwares including Xero, Quickbooks and VT Transactions, which means I can help a small business to implement time-saving optimisations and make their processes simpler and transparent.
I come from a background of working for both large and small organisations and so am comfortable with supporting all the different types of clients we have… and if you pop in for a cuppa, I’ll be sure to get the good biscuits out!
